Hours begins.

Well, it’s two years I see since Prey. There’s been one abandoned novel and now Hours, which is about to be printed. I have posted the first three sections to give everyone an idea of what it is but the piece is very much designed as a physical object and an essential part of it is to feel it, hold it, look backwards and forwards in it. I have no intention of publishing it as an e-book. The final draft is at the printers so here’s hoping. It is based on my own experience of being given a terminal diagnosis and getting away with it. I am one of the 4 percent who the condition self-corrects in. The narrative traces the first 24 hours in the life of the narrator after he has received the diagnosis and is about how he faces up to mortality. Its got stories and images and poems but no songs! yet.
